Our story.

Our journey as a church began back in February 1990, when Grace Church was planted in Lancing as part of the New Frontiers Movement of churches led by Terry Virgo. Grace Church later became Jubilee Church and moved to Worthing, meeting at Worthing High School for 18 years. Then in 2019, after 30 successful years, the elders of Jubilee felt the time was right to plant a new church called Redeemer in the centre of Worthing, with a heart to see Jesus brought to the very centre of our town. We started meeting as Redeemer at Easter 2020, and we are so excited for the next part of our journey together.

Regions Beyond.

Redeemer is part of a wider movement of churches called Regions Beyond led by Steve Oliver. There are now churches across six continents, with currently thirty churches in the UK. Our nearest sister church is Trinity in Littlehampton, which was planted out of Jubilee in September 2018.
